TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

PERSONAL DETAILS

Confidentially is paramount, so Data protection will be followed at all times.

 

DEPOSITS

All deposits will be deducted from the total bill

The Trial deposit of £50.00 is required 7 days prior to the booking.

To secure your desired wedding day booking, a deposit of £100.00 is due after a 7 day cooling off period from the trial.

Settlement of the total remaining fee is due 6 weeks prior to the wedding day.

All prices are confirmed via email prior to any deposit has been made.

 

Once deposits have been paid the wedding date will be secured. The deposit for the wedding and trial are non refundable in the event of cancellation of the wedding.

 

TIMINGS

Bride hair and makeup trial – from 2 hours

Bridal party hair and makeup trial - 1 hour each

A time table will be calculated for the wedding day, once the trial is completed.

Please take note of these timings when organising your trial day.

Size of bookings

If there are more than 3 hair and makeups, I will be bringing additional hair stylists and makeup artists, to ensure your day runs smoothly, and to the timescale given.

 

TRAVEL COSTS

Travel expenses will be charged at 0.50p per mile if the journey exceeds a 15 mile radius.

 Congestion charges, tolls, parking costs apply where necessary.

If the venue is outside the U.K, there will be additional charges, which can be discussed prior to booking. The balance payment of weddings outside of the UK must be paid, and cleared before the stylist leaves the country. All booking details travel and accommodation must be agreed by the bookings team before departure.

 

RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CLIENT

It is the responsibility of the client to advise of any issues that affect the services being carried out including but not limited to allergies, skin or medical conditions. Responsibility cannot be taken by Fiona Chaffey for any reactions to product and/or equipment used without being prior advised of any condition. When booking for a group, it remains the clients’ responsibility to advise all members of their party of this.

 

You are required to give a minimum of 6 weeks’ notice in writing, should you wish to reduce numbers or services booked on your wedding day. If notice has not been given, the original amount payable will still be required.

 

ADDITIONAL COSTS

Additional costs may be incurred if hair pieces, padding or hair accessories are needed.

 

CANCELATIONS

Fiona Chaffey reserves the right to refuse service to the client or members the party if there is any abusive and threatening behaviour.

 

If a Cancellation needs to be made, this must be 4 weeks prior to the wedding date, and emailed to fichaffey@hotmail.com

 

If for some reason you decide to cancel the make-up artist after confirming your booking, the following charges will become payable. The percentages are the proportion of the total fees for the wedding services (including bridesmaids & others) that you booked with us.

5 weeks before the wedding 30%

4 weeks before the wedding 40%

3 weeks before the wedding 50%

2 week before the wedding 100%

 

If we need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be notified, and replacement stylists and makeup artists will be sent

The replacement artists will be given all documented looks needed for the day, so your will receive the desired result.

 

LIABILITY

All brushes, tools and makeup/hair products are kept sanitary and are sanitized between every makeup application. Any skin condition should be reported by the client to the makeup artist prior to application and, if need be, a sample test of makeup may be performed on the skin to test reaction. Client(s) agree to release the makeup artist/hair stylist, from liability for any skin complications due to allergic reactions.

Photography

The client agrees that the makeup artist/hair stylist, may use any photography for publicity purposes which include the makeup artist’s website and social media pages

 

HEN PARTIES AND GROUP BOOKINGS:

For Hen Parties and Group Bookings final funds must be paid in full at the point of booking, including agreed expenses. If they are not we, reserve the right to cancel your booking.

 

BEAUTY BAR

The beauty bar is available for 2 hours for your guests to enjoy, at a time agreed by yourself.

Payment for The beauty bar is to be made 4 weeks prior to the wedding date.

If you require the beauty bar for a longer time period, a charge of £80.00 per hour will be added to the original quote.

A non refundable deposit of £50.00, is required at the time of booking.

If you require the beauty bar for a longer time period, a charge of £80.00 per hour will be added to the original quote.

If you have booked your wedding hair and makup with us, you will  be elegable for a Beauty Bar discount, please ask when booking.

Travel costs will be added, if the Bride and the wedding party have not had their hair or makeup completed by us (please see travel above).

The Beauty Bar is to be paid in full 4 weeks prior to the wedding date.

if you need to cancel part payment may be withheld, as explained in the cancelation section above.

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Trials are recommended for every member of your bridal party, this way your desired look can either be adjusted if needed or realised.

 

By paying a deposit for services, you will be agreeing to theses terms and conditions.
